Mentorship Program

Our mentorship program gives WIIS members an opportunity to be paired with a mentor in the field of international security. Pairings are based on shared areas of interest and expertise. Through the mentorship program, mentees  receive valuable advice and make lasting connections in the field of international security. In addition, we hold mentorship event where members can foster their mentor-mentee relationships. If you are interested in participating in the mentorship program, as a mentor or mentee, please get in touch at mentorship.wiisqueens@gmail.com.

 Annual Conference

WIIS-Queen's hosts its annual conference in March. Every year students hear from professionals in the field of international security. They share their personal experiences, research, and their extensive knowledge with delegates. WIIS members and the general Queen's community will have an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and get a taste of what their careers could possibly look like! Conference registration will open in early January.

Panels, Workshops & Fundraisers

Every year, we host a series of smaller-scale speaker conferences, self-defence workshops, and other events where we raise money to donate to non-for-profits in the Kingston community. Keep an eye on our instagram for upcoming events!
